IMAGINE: Finding Nick after he disappears

You walk across the black sand beach, the wind tugging at your hair. It's empty which is exactly how you like it. You need peace and quiet to think through your racing thoughts. Your boyfriend, Nick Morton, was cursed by the ancient Egyptian princess, Ahmanet. He was possessed by the spirit of Set and harnessed all of his powers. Then Nick disappeared. You haven't seen him since and you don't know what to think. You don't know if he's okay. You don't know how he's handling these new, strange and dangerous powers. The past couple of weeks have been the weirdest of your life. You sigh and run your hand through your hair, which is a mass of tangles. You sit down at the shore and pull your knees to your chest, looking out at the horizon. You sigh again and close your eyes, lifting your face up to the cloudy sky. “Y/N." Someone says from behind you. You jump to your feet and whirl around. Your breath leaves you in a rush at the sight of him standing there, right before you. “Nick." You whisper with relief. Nick pulls you into his arms and holds you tightly against him. "It's such a relief to see you, Nick. I didn't-I didn't really know what to think. After you disappeared, no one saw or heard from you. I was beginning to think you were dead." You whisper into his neck. He puts his hands on your hips and pulls back to look at you. "I'm sorry, Y/N. I would have showed myself sooner—I would have come to you earlier. It's just...this is really weird. What happened to me is beyond strange. Suddenly I have these new powers and I don't know what to do with them." He admits. You cup his face. "How are you doing?" You ask worriedly. “I'm doing pretty good, despite everything that happened. I just-I feel lost...? If that makes any sense at all." “It does, Nick. You suddenly have these strange powers and you have no clue what to do. I get that you feel lost and I wish I could help you. I don't-I don't know how though." You whisper. "You being here for me helps, Y/N. I don't feel so alone when I'm with you." He whispers. You slide your hand into his and smile. "That's because you're not alone." You reply. Nick smiles at you. You start to walk the beach with him.      "What are you going to do now?" You ask, looking at him. He shrugs a shoulder. "I have-I have no idea. I feel like I should know though. Do I just keep living life? What? I don't know." He sighs. You frown, feeling bad for him. "Nick, perhaps it'd be best if you just continued to live life as normally as possible." “Whatever that means now that I'm superhuman." He mumbles. “Who knows that means, Nick. But we'll find out along the way. You don't have to know the exact right way to live now that you're...different. You can figure it out as you progress through life. No one is expecting you to have all of the answers and no one ever will. We're going to get through this, okay? No matter how weird or bizarre this situation is, we're going to get through it." Nick smiles at you and pulls you to his side, wrapping his arm around your waist. "What did I do to deserve you?" He murmurs, kissing your head. “I ask myself that question everyday." You smirk at him. He laughs and kisses you soundly. "I love you, Y/N." You smile and wrap your arms around him. "I love you too."  [THE END] I hope you liked it!
