IMAGINE: Getting into an argument with Dan

"Hey, you okay?" Dan, your husband, asks as you both walk towards the meet and greet at Comic Con. "Yeah, why?" You whisper. "You look exhausted." "Oh, gee, thanks." You snap. Dan stares at you in confusion and you wince, rubbing your forehead. "No, no, no, I'm sorry. I didn't mean that." You sigh. You look up at him. "Maybe I am a little tired. We've been travelling so much lately and doing so many things, I've barely had time to breathe." He wraps his arm around your waist and smiles. "Y/N, I promise after all of this stuff is over, we can rest for a while." He tells you. You look down, swallowing. "Not really." You mutter, barely audible. "What?" "Uh, nothing." You answer. You put a hand on your stomach and glance down at it. You just found out you're two months pregnant. As much as Dan and you would like to rest in the upcoming months, you know it'll be impossible. You haven't told Dan you're going to have a baby. You're trying to find the perfect time to tell him. --- You try to stay awake throughout the meet and greet. Your head is pounding and you feel yourself getting grouchy. You try to be nice to everyone you meet, knowing it's not their fault you're so weary. When it's finally over, you've never been so thankful. You leave the meet and greet area without waiting for Dan. You just want to get back to your trailer and crash into bed. "Y/N, wait up!" Dan exclaims, getting up and running after you. "What is it? What's going on?" He asks. "Nothing. Nothing is going on." You answer, your voice cracking. Tears fill your eyes for no reason. You clench your jaw, angry at yourself for crying which causes more tears to come. They spill down your cheeks and you brush them away. "Are you crying?" Dan whispers. "Dan, please." You choke out. You make it into the back rooms of the building. "Y/N." Dan says, grabbing your arm and stopping you. He comes around to face you, frowning. "What is wrong?" "Nothing is wrong." You sob. His eyebrows draw. "Well, it sure doesn't seem like nothing is wrong. You're crying." He points out. You sniff. "Y/N, what is it?" He whispers, gently rubbing your arm. "Dan, it's nothing!" You exclaim irritably, before you brush past him. "Y/N, how can I help you if you don't tell me what's wrong?" Dan asks, running after you. "I don't need your help!" You snap. He stops and pulls up straight. You keep walking, too emotional and angry to stop. --- You lay in bed, weeping. You know women get emotional when they're pregnant but this is ridiculous. You're crying because you're tired. Thinking about how silly it is makes you cry even harder. "Oh my gosh, what's wrong with me?" You sob into your pillow. "Y/N?" Dan asks softly, coming into the small room. You sniff, feeling horrible for getting mad at him. You sit up in bed and look at him. He's staring at you, not angrily but with kindness and compassion. "Dan, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for getting mad at you." You whisper. "Oh, Y/N, it's okay. Whatever is bothering you, you can tell me. You can trust me." He says, sitting beside you and pulling you into his arms. "Nothing is bothering me, Dan." You answer. He sighs. "Y/N, not this again." You pull your head back to look at him. "No, I'm being serious. Nothing is bothering me." "I don't understand." He admits with confusion. "I'm pregnant." You state. "What..." Dan whispers, staring at you in shock. "A few days ago I found out we're going to have a baby. I-I didn't know how to tell you. I was waiting for a good opportunity, but it never came." You explain. "Oh, my...Oh, Y/N." He breathes. "That's why I'm so emotional." You laugh, sniffling. Dan hugs you tightly. "I can't believe it. We're going to be parents." ""You're going to be the best father, Dan. I just know it." You sigh, closing your eyes. "Me? What about you? You're going to be an amazing mom. Not to mention incredibly hot too." He says, grinning. You laugh and pull your head back to kiss him. "I love you." You whisper, smiling at him. He kisses you again. "I love you too." He says. He looks down at your stomach and smiles. [THE END] I hope you liked it!
